Apple iPhone keynote presentation Video

Apple's launch of its new iPhone is causing a storm of interest, with thousands of journalists and bloggers adding their two penny's worth via online publications.

Consumers eager to consolidate their gadgets into a single device heralded the iPhone's arrival, unveiled at the annual Macworld Expo, with much fanfare.

The iPhone represents future Internet marketing opportunities, as the popularity of mobile search is increasing rapidly.

The device, when it is released in the summer, will cost in the region of £257. However, this relatively hefty price-tag has not deterred commentators from around the globe predicting its future importance.

iPhone Demo:


Just the day before, Microsoft supreme Bill Gates had heralded a "digital future" where electronic devices would bring disparate gadgets together and connect people. Ironically, it seems that arch-rival Apple has stolen a march on Microsoft, as its iPhone promises to combine the features of a video iPod with a Wi-Fi internet connection, a user-friendly interface and a 2MB camera.

An article in the Indian publication the Hindu read: "The launch of Apple's iPhone sent shockwaves across the rest of the technology industry yesterday (January 10th), as the race started to bring the Silicon Valley giant's latest gadget to other countries later this year."

Meanwhile, the blogosphere was filled with discussions of the iPhone and mobile phone operators are scrambling to sign deals with Apple to bring the mobile across the Atlantic.
