Google launches new mobile product soon after Yahoo

Google has made its new mobile search service available to all consumers, soon after Yahoo launched its own mobile product.

The service will bring great benefits to internet marketers who want to reach the huge and growing audience of people who access the web from their phones.

When users visit Google.com on their phone they will see a link that will take them to "a mobile search experience that's more tailored to their needs".

It allows users to get answers with the minimum of clicks, which has been facilitated by Google remembering recent search locations to serve relevant local results in subsequent searches.

"Once you've entered a location, try searching for movies to see top movies playing in your area," the company said on its official blog. "Clicking on one of those movies directs you straight to the movie showtimes; one more click and you can even purchase tickets."

As well as this, the algorithm-based search has been refined to produce intelligent results, so that a search for BBC will bring back a link to the mobile-friendly version of the broadcaster's website.

Earlier this month, Google's arch-nemesis Yahoo unveiled its own impressive oneSearch system, and allowed users to directly compare it to Google on its website.

Web owners can get a piece of the Internet Marketing pie by using Direct Link Ads.
