Microsoft Warns: Windows Vista beta users should upgrade now
If you are still running the Beta 2, RC1, and RC2 version of Windows Vista, hit the panic button and upgrade to the full version in the next few weeks.Microsoft has warned that after 31 May ‘07, if you are running a pre-release version of Windows Vista will be able to use their computers for two hour sessions but “after 2 hours of use, the PC will automatically reboot without providing the opportunity to save data"
Unless you can handle major work disruption and the loss of data, you would need to install the final version of Windows Vista or get the Windows Vista upgrade ASAP.

Microsoft also announced that its profits soared to a record high with a 65% jump in 3Q earnings; Microsoft gave a positive forecast for the next year, expecting strong gains from the recently launched Windows Vista OS.
