As the Internet world grows rapidly it is increasingly important to have a key figure with the right international and leadership experience heading up the business and operations.
Yahoo recently acknowledged this by installing its co-founder Jerry Yang as CEO in place of Terry Semel, as the company looks to realize its strategic vision and carry out clear growth plans.
In a similar way, Nigel comes to the Direct Traffic Media Group as the leading Online Marketing specialist as it eyes global expansion.
Based upon its powerful digital marketing solution Direct Traffic now needs a major player to help deliver on its ambitious growth plans, guiding its strategy and the adoption of its Digital Media solutions by the major global corporations.
On his appointment Nigel stated that he was delighted to join the company at this exciting time in its growth.
“The company has an excellent and world-beating solution in the digital media space that helps companies significantly increase their direct business and their brand awareness online. The existing client base of both blue chip companies and smaller niche players proves the scalability and effectiveness of the range of digital media solutions that Direct Traffic can provide, and client testimonials confirm this".
Nigel continued: "I very much look forward to working with the existing team who have worked very hard to establish the current leading position, and build upon it in the future.”
Nigel is a graduate of the City University Business School (London); where he obtained a first class honours degree. His previous roles include a successful career in IT/management consultancy with an international boutique consultancy house followed by a number of years with a global systems integrator where he successfully grew a number of businesses in the UK and Europe.
His most recent role was as CEO of Brains Group where he successfully grew the company from its formative stage to a strong and successful business including acquisitions and a subsequent merger to become CEO of Endava.
