Press Association moves to provide bespoke news feeds

image The Press Association is set to help companies improve their Online Marketing by providing tailored news to their websites every day.

Having joined forces with Brighton-based Web Marketing firm Leapfrogg, the UK's national news agency is aiming to offer stories depending on the client's demands.

This can help keep a website near the top of Google rankings, according to Leapfrogg sales director Ben Potter.

"Regularly updated, fresh content is integral in keeping the target audience interested and therefore returning to a site over and over again," he said.

"In addition, it is an aid to search engine rankings as search engines like nothing better than fresh, unique content."

Companies will be able to provide the Press Association with an outline of the type of articles they hope to receive, which will be then provided at regular intervals throughout the day.

Using link building techniques such as a tailored news feed should help increase a website's ranking on Google and encourage site visitors to return in future.
