Text Link Ads

Recent research indicating that a fifth of all sons and daughters used the internet to buy presents for father's day clearly demonstrates the need for businesses to have a visible web presence.

Naturally growing inbound links is one of the most effective ways for webmasters to achieve page one results and make sure your potential audience of millions sees your site.

A one way link is a hyperlink located on a website that points to your website, but without it being reciprocated by the first website.

Search engines such as Google and Yahoo are thought to see these links as more natural than reciprocal links (when two websites mutually link to each other), indicating a better quality website and therefore one that consumers are going to want to buy from.

The idea of Link Building in this way was popularised by Google, whose PageRank technology was developed by founder Larry Page in the 1990s.

For businesses and web owners, the more links that direct internet users to your site, the better - so this is a crucial method for getting your site up to the top of those all-important search engines.

In a recent report the BBC explained "one of the most important factors in deciding how relevant particular sites are is to count how many other sites link to it." Explaining that "the more references, or links there are to a site, the more important it is deemed to be" causing it to rank higher.

Link baiting vs. Text Link Ads

Building web pages with useful features draw webmasters and content writers to link to the web pages that might be of interest to their own visitors; this technique is referred to as link baiting. Even though this is considered to be the most ethical link building technique; it is generally resource intensive, unpredictable and not guaranteed draw in links.

Placing text link ads or Direct Links on related websites is considered to be the most effective way to improve the “value” or ranking of your website. Placing direct links, if done correctly, will draw visitors to click on the text link ads as well as increase the ranking value of almost any website.
The only caution would be that commercial link building is getting more and more specialised, businesses should be careful not to waste the Internet Marketing investments on simple or mainstream link building techniques.

The best resources and best content will gain the best natural Inbound Links.
